Orientation
The program begins with a one-week orientation/"boot camp" that
introduces students to all the resources available at IIJNM, including
media mentors, software applications and computer network.

Notes:
- Television,
Radio, Magazine & New Media students are required to pick
the relevant elective from Group A.
- Depending
on the choice of Area of Specialisation, all students are required
to pick the relevant elective from Group B.

All students are free to choose one more elective from any of
the three Groups. However Television and Radio electives are
exclusive to Television and Radio students only. Students from
other Media Concentration cannot take Television or Radio electives.
Similarly Television and Radio students cannot take a Print
and New Media elective (e.g. Magazine Writing & Understanding
New Media)
- Print
students are allowed to take three electives, from any of the
three Groups. However the rule of Area of Specialisation applies
to them as well
